This weeks blog and photos of the week are all about doors and windows. Anybody that has traveled with me would know that I am completely obsessed with them! The mystery, the stories and secrets they hold, the character, the personalities of these beautiful wooden doors and panels of glass that shelter our homes and lives from the world outside. They are more than just a piece of architecture, they are PURE art!

The six images below were photographed from all over Italy, last July. Locations include Burano, Murano, Venice, and the Dolomites.
