February 14, 2010 – Photo of the Week: “Everybody’s Gone Home: Part One”

Jamaica is a beautiful island, a tropical paradise, on the Caribbean Sea.

Ocho Rios is a town in northern Jamaica. It’s name means “Eight Rivers” in Spanish. It is a port for many cruise ships. Definitely, its main industry here is tourism.

We found this beach particularly relaxing. We met some interesting new friends here. And found the waters very warm and soothing.

Certainly the sunsets were amazing in Ocho Rios, and this is an example of one. Framed by the palm trees, abandoned beach chairs, and lifeguard house, everybody has certainly gone home for the evening. But they will return to play tomorrow.

Enjoy!
